Portuguese Paprika Colorau | Colorifico

This item is hard to find in today's Portuguese kitchens, but not forgotten. I'm sure vovó remembers using this seasoning.

This seasoning is prepared by heating annatto seeds and then grinding them to obtain a fine powder and mixed with dried ground red sweet peppers. 

Our Portuguese paprika is an all around great seasoning that can be used in a variety of dishes. Whether you use it to flavor and color rice, add seasoning to a marinade, or for meat. It's a great ingredient to have in your pantry.
